Do you sometimes find that you feel stressed, anxious or on edge?
Mindfulness can be described as “a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations”. This short session will introduce colleagues to mindfulness and coaching techniques and will explain how both can be used to support individuals to work on their goals by helping them to understand their current situation and the steps they may wish to take to work towards achieving their goals.
We will look at ways of taking care of ourselves, both physically and emotionally, including making time to calm down, re-energise and feel better about yourself with the goal of supporting good health and having the best chance of success.
